Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have arrested a suspected Boko Haram informant in Borno’s Kaga Local Government Area.
Security expert Zaragoza Makama, citing sources, said the arrest followed intel on collaborators aiding terrorists in the area.
The suspect, Bulama Modu, was apprehended by 29 Task Force Brigade and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) members at Shauri village, Mainok axis, on March 26.
According to him, items seized include: a Tecno phone, charms, and ₦5,700.
The suspect is in custody as security agencies step up efforts to dismantle informant networks supporting insurgency in North-East.
