As the race for 2027 presidential election gears up, Aisha Yesufu, a human rights activist, has predicted President Tinubu’s 2027 presidential election loss, saying he is seeking governors’ support to create an illusion of power.
She cited low interest in APC’s registration as proof of lack of popular support, contrasting with other parties like ADC.
Yesufu who stated this on Thursday, explained that Tinubu is looking for state governors to make him appear as if he has power.
“Once upon a time, I think PDP had 20-something governors; it didn’t stop them from losing the election when it was time for them to lose.
“The fact that they don’t have the people, you could see it when they were doing the registration and nobody was interested, nobody cared to visit their website. But you can see with the ADC the kind of passion it has gathered.”
