The Supreme Court of Nigeria will unveil its Electronic Filing, E-Filing, System and Nigeria Case Management System, NCMS, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
The court announced the development on its official X handle on Tuesday, describing it as a landmark initiative in the digital transformation of justice administration in Nigeria.
Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Kabir E. Akanbi, said the systems are designed to enhance efficiency, transparency, accessibility and timely dispensation of justice by modernising case filing and management processes.
According to the announcement, the Honourable Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Motonmori Olatokunbo Kekere-Ekun, GCON, will formally unveil the platforms on the scheduled date.
The Supreme Court said the initiative underscores its commitment to leveraging technology to strengthen judicial administration and deliver world-class judicial services in line with international best practices.
Further details on implementation, rollout schedule and operational guidelines will be communicated in due course, Akanbi added.
