Nigeria’s brand new Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (retd), has assured that the country is safe and secure, promising that citizens will see significant improvements in national security very soon.
General Musa gave the assurance on Thursday in Abuja while addressing journalists shortly after he was sworn in as Minister of Defence.
He pledged to strengthen co-ordination across the armed forces and security agencies, emphasising that security is everybody’s responsibility.
Musa, the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff hinted that President Tinubu has tasked him with ensuring that Nigerians can sleep peacefully, return to their farms, and send their children to school without fear.
