‎Kalu Hails Outcome of APC Zonal Congress in Enugu

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has hailed the seamless coordination and peaceful conduct of the APC zonal congress in Enugu, which elected party officials.

‎The congress on Wednesday in Enugu brought together stakeholders from across South-East Nigeria.

‎In a post via his verified X handle, Kalu noted that the successful ward, local government, and state congresses reflected the will of party members, leading to a consensus option for the zonal congress.

‎He congratulated newly elected officials and commended Governors Hope Uzodimma, Francis Nwifuru, and Peter Mbah for their commitment. Ahead of the National Convention,

‎Kalu urged APC members to support the party’s growth and President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, saying the 2027 goal remains within reach.

‎”I congratulate all newly elected zonal officials of the party. I also commend the Governors of the Southeast for their commitment to the success of this congress. The seamless coordination, calm atmosphere, and orderliness witnessed throughout this process at every level speak to the unity and cohesion in our various states.

‎”Ahead of the National Convention this weekend, I urge all members and stakeholders to remain steadfast in their support for the growth and stability of our party, and in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

‎”The goal of 2027 remains within reach. With sustained unity, dedication, and collective resolve, victory is assured.”
