The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency, Sir Uzoma Ihuka, has said he wants his name to be etched in history for attracting lasting federal presence and legacy infrastructure to Isiala Ngwa.
Recalling his antecedents during his time at ASOPADEC, Ihuka said he delivered one of the biggest projects of the agency at a minimal cost, urging people to visit and verify.
“I want to be remembered that it was under my watch that I did that building. I did it at a minimal cost. That’s how I want to be remembered,” he stated.
Looking ahead, he pledged to use his position in the National Assembly to attract federal institutions to Isiala Ngwa.
“By the grace of God, I’m going to attract federal institutions to Isiala Ngwa. That federal institution will outlive me, will outlive my children. When the road is tarred, they will say ‘Uzoma Ihuka did this road’. It will outlive me,” he said.
He added that such projects would create jobs, boost the economy and give the constituency a permanent place on the national map.
