‎I Have Good Relationship with Igbo People, Wike Declares

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has declared that he has a good relationship with Igbo people.

‎The former Rivers State Governor disclosed this during his ‘thank you’ tour to Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State on Sunday.

‎Wike also revealed that he is not a member of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo socio-cultural organization.

‎Faulting the Ohanaeze Ndigbo President-General, John Mbata, Wike said he believed that he would have access to South-East governors to collect money.

‎According to Wike, Ikwerre people have declared Mbata persona non grata for referring to the tribe as Igbos.

‎The FCT Minister also dismissed Mbata’s support for Governor Sim Fubara’s second term, noting that the Ohanaeze President-General does not speak for Ikwerre people.

‎He also reaffirmed his Ikwerre identity, stating that Mbata cannot bury his mother and his only brother because he is dragging property.
