More political groups and structures across Isiala Ngwa have continued to commend Chief Uzo Ihuka for securing the ticket as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
The groups and structures with leadership cutting across Ngwa land, have made a statement of intent, declaring their unflinching support for Chief Uzo Ihuka, saying their support stems from his antecedents and years of philanthropy.
On Saturday, June 20th, 2026, the various groups and structures including: City Boy Movement, Peculiar Women, Restoration Movement, Ikwu Na Ibe Mass Movement, Ikemba Front, Winning Team among others stormed the residence of Chief Uzo Ihuka in Umuoha, Isiala Ngwa North LGA of Abia State in a show of solidarity.
The various groups and structures who spoke expressly through their spokespersons, said they are for Chief Ihuka as they have the hope that he will change their fortunes, bring real dividends of democracy home as well as engage in human capital development.
They said their visit was to confirm that Chief Ihuka is the authentic candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency, praying that he finally emerges the Representative for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency.
Responding to the outpour of love by the groups, Chief Ihuka who likened their visit to that of the three wise men in the biblical account of the birth of Jesus Christ, confirmed that he is the flagbearer of the party for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency.
Ihuka commended them for their solidarity and promises to work for him, assuring them of working with them as soon as the campaigns get underway.
He also charged them to take the message to their villages and homes having confirmed that he is the flagbearer of the party.
