Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda at the weekend received members of the APC Companions at the Katsina State Government House.
The group visited to reaffirm their support for his administration and the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during the meeting, Governor Radda described the visit as an opportunity for meaningful engagement and discussions on the group’s commitment to the success of the APC and the continued development of Katsina State.
He commended the APC Companions for their solidarity and appreciated their support for both his administration and the party.
The Governor stressed the importance of unity, cooperation and solidarity among party stakeholders, noting that a united political structure remained essential to sustaining development and progress in the state.
He urged stakeholders to maintain regular engagement and strengthen cooperation, particularly as the APC prepares for the 2027 general elections.
Earlier, the Patron of the APC Companions, Dr. Aminu Waziri, said the visit was aimed at reaffirming the group’s support for the Governor and the APC.
He added that the group remained committed to contributing to the strengthening of the party and to its success in the 2027 elections.
Also speaking, the Katsina State Chairman of the APC Companions, Usman Umar Mai Ruwa, reiterated the group’s commitment to supporting the APC and contributing meaningfully to its success in the forthcoming elections.
He assured the Governor of the group’s continued solidarity and willingness to work with relevant stakeholders towards achieving the objectives of the party.
The meeting was attended by the Chief of Staff, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. Aisha Aminu Malumfashi; Chairman, Gwagware Foundation, Alhaji Yusuf Ali Musawa; and other top government officials.
