Emerging reports say Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has confirmed that he will defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
‎Governor Fubara disclosed this during a stakeholder meeting at the Government House on Tuesday.
According to him, his decision to defect is in the interest of Rivers people.
‎‎He added that he has gotten the approval of President Bola Tinubu to join the ruling party.
‎Fubara’s defection is not coming as a surprise to many following several meetings with the President and the recent defection of 16 Rivers State House of Assembly lawmakers.
