Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has signed into law the 2026 Appropriation and Finance Bills following legislative scrutiny.
Signing the bills on Tuesday, Buni appreciated members of the Yobe State House of Assembly for their steadfastness and reaffirmed their loyalty to the people of the state through the timely passage of the bills after thorough and constructive scrutiny.
He added that this clearly demonstrates that both the Executive and Legislative arms of government in the state are working in synergy, with a clear vision, understanding, and commitment to serve the people better.
The governor called on all citizens of the state to continue to live in peace and harmonious co-existence and to support government policies and programmes so that the state can collectively succeed.
