YOLA — Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has charged his Special Advisers and all political appointees to work hard towards ensuring that all candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections.
He gave the charge in his office at the Government House, Yola, while receiving the leadership of the Forum of his Special Advisers on a courtesy visit on Friday.
The Governor said he was overwhelmed by the visit and described it as a strong booster to his political ambition.
He assured that if given the mandate of the people of Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, he would continue to deploy his experience to ensure that people are better served.
Governor Fintiri attributed the successes of his administration in Adamawa State to the support he received from the Special Advisers, other critical stakeholders, and residents of the state.
Earlier, the Secretary of the Forum, Arvadi Gundiri, told the Governor that their visit was to declare support for his senatorial bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Gundiri presented campaign materials to the Governor on behalf of the Forum. The items included 1,000 face caps, 1,000 shirts, and stickers.
