The Federal High Court, Abuja Division, has reserved ruling on the no-case submission filed by former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, in his ongoing trial over alleged unlawful wiretapping.
El-Rufai is being tried for allegedly wiretapping the telephone conversations of the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
At the resumed hearing, both prosecution and defence counsel adopted their written addresses on the no-case submission.
The prosecution prayed the court to overrule the submission and order the defendant to enter his defence.
Justice Abdulmalik subsequently adjourned the matter until October 26, 2026, for ruling.
