Authorities in Katsina State have announced the recovery of livestock and the arrest of several suspects during recent security activities in Bakori and Batsari LGAs.
In Bakori LGA, a number of cows and sheep were recovered and have been handed over to local community leaders for identification and return to their owners.
In a separate operation in Batsari LGA, security personnel working with relevant agencies carried out activities that led to arrests and the recovery of items. The suspects are currently undergoing further investigation.
Community leaders and security agencies have commended the continued cooperation between residents and authorities, which they say is helping to keep communities safer.
