The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has commended the Federal Government’s continued support for families of personnel who died in service.

‎Air Marshal Aneke stated this on Thursday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, during the 2nd Edition of the Renewed Hope Initiative, RHI, Presentation of Financial Support to Widows of Fallen Heroes of the Armed Forces and Police.

‎The event was organised by the Office of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the RHI Social Investment Programme.

‎According to the CAS, the initiative reflects the nation’s appreciation of the sacrifices made by fallen heroes and reinforces the commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of the families they left behind.

‎The programme provides financial support to widows of military and police personnel who paid the ultimate price in service to the nation.

‎Senior military and security leaders also attended the ceremony.
