Bandits have reportedly attacked Wusar community in Gwaraji Ward of Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

‎Posting about the attack on Tuesday via his verified X handle, a security expert, Bakatsine stated that during the attack, one person was shot while several residents were abducted.

‎He also added that the attack left affected  families devastated, informing that fear has gripped the entire community.

‎Bakatsine posted, “Last night, bandits reportedly attacked Wusar community in Gwaraji Ward of Igabi LGA, Kaduna State. During the invasion, one person was shot and several residents were abducted, leaving families devastated and the entire community in fear.”

‎”How long will communities in the Northwest continue to live under the constant threat of bandit attacks? What concrete and sustained measures are being taken to end these recurring atrocities and restore lasting security to the region?”

‎Newsbuka reports that The Kaduna State government has been working to address insecurity, launching initiatives like the “Kaduna Model” to tackle banditry.
