The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, on Friday reconstituted the leadership of its 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee.
With the new arrangement, the APC has now appointed former Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, as the new chairman.
Meanwhile, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, who was earlier named chairman of the committee, has been re-assigned to serve as treasurer.
Also, the APC expanded the committee’s membership from 73 to 90 members to accommodate more party stakeholders.
Newsbuka reports that added members include: Senator Barry Mpigi and several other prominent APC chieftains.
The ruling party said the adjustments form part of the revised 2026 APC National Convention Central Coordination Committee and were made to reflect zoning considerations and other strategic demands.
