MAKURDI – Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has administered the oath of office to seven new commissioners and charged them to put the people first, serve with integrity and accountability, and work together for the development of the state.

‎The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Government House, Makurdi, and was announced by the governor on his official X handle on Friday.
‎
‎The new commissioners are: Hon. Kuma Aii Yenge, Hon. Roy Ashirga Terna, Hon. Angwa Egbe Monday, Hon. Elizabeth Onma Ogenyi, Hon. Solomon Iorpev, Rt. Hon. Nick Eworo, and Hon. Ankwa Amo.

‎Governor Alia also swore in Hon. Godwin Anya as a Member of the Assembly Service Commission.
‎
‎He further inaugurated Rev. Fr. Patrick Tor Alumuku as Chairman of the Benue Television, BTV, Board, alongside other members of the Board.
‎
‎Speaking at the event, the governor urged the appointees to see their appointments as a call to service and to work in line with his administration’s commitment to transparency, good governance and people-centered development in Benue State.
