NDC Unveils Ogah, Alaribe as Guber Ticket for Abia 2027

UMUAHIA – Chief Etugo Ndubuisi Ogah has been officially unveiled as the governorship candidate of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, in Abia State.

‎At a colourful event held at the Britarch Event Centre, Umuahia on Wednesday, Ogah and his running mate, Engr. Dozie Alaribe, were presented to party faithful to the excitement of a mammoth crowd of party chieftains and supporters.

‎Speaking during the unveiling, the State Chairman of the party, Chief Ako Atulomah, said the NDC remains the fastest growing party in Nigeria and Abia, emphasizing that the party is well positioned to clinch all available seats in Abia in 2027.

‎He charged members of the party to go all out and campaign for the victory of the party, declaring that the party boasts of credible candidates with proven track records who have distinguished themselves in various fields of endeavour.

‎Atulomah also charged members of the party to protect their votes and resist moneybags, saying, “collect their money and vote for the right candidates.”

Reacting after his unveiling, the governorship candidate of the NDC in Abia, Chief Etugo Ndubuisi Ogah, expressed optimism that the party would clinch victory in 2027.

He stated that as the governorship candidate, together with other candidates, they would commence reconciliatory visits to aspirants who did not emerge, to ensure the party remains united and to join forces to ensure that the party clinches victory in 2027.

Ogah appreciated members of the party, the chairman, Ako Atulomah, members of the State Working Committee, and the senatorial candidates, Nkechi Nwogu of Abia Central and Uko Nkole of Abia North, among others, saying with their support, victory is assured.

‎He also commended members of the Kwankwasiyya movement, various pro-groups and structures, urging them to continue marketing the party wherever they found themselves.
