Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has hosted the global leadership delegation of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to a gala dinner in Kaduna.

‎The delegation was led by the President of the Africa and India Office and Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Ankur Vora.

‎Speaking during the visit, Governor Sani said the meeting provided an opportunity to review progress made in strengthening primary healthcare, advancing locally driven research, and building robust data systems for evidence-based governance.

‎He noted that Mr. Vora observed that Kaduna has consistently emerged as the Foundation’s foremost subnational partner in deliberations at its global headquarters.

‎The Governor described the recognition as an affirmation of his administration’s commitment to investing in healthcare, education, agriculture and human capital.

‎Sani expressed appreciation to the Gates Foundation for choosing Kaduna as the first destination of its global leadership team’s visit to Nigeria, describing it as a vote of confidence in the state’s reform agenda.

‎He assured that the state government remains committed to deepening the partnership to improve lives and accelerate inclusive and sustainable development.
