Akwa Ibom’s Procurement Reforms Saved Over ₦200bn ~ Gov Eno

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, says procurement reforms by his administration have saved the state over ₦200 billion in project costs.

‎The Governor stated this while receiving the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, and Federal Permanent Secretaries in Uyo for their Procurement Retreat.

‎According to a post on his official X handle, Governor Eno reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transparency and prudent management of public resources.

‎He also highlighted progress made in digitising government processes, improving workers’ welfare, and strengthening transparency and accountability in public service.

‎The Governor thanked the visiting federal officials for choosing Akwa Ibom and wished them a successful retreat.
