Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, says procurement reforms by his administration have saved the state over ₦200 billion in project costs.
The Governor stated this while receiving the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, and Federal Permanent Secretaries in Uyo for their Procurement Retreat.
According to a post on his official X handle, Governor Eno reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transparency and prudent management of public resources.
He also highlighted progress made in digitising government processes, improving workers’ welfare, and strengthening transparency and accountability in public service.
The Governor thanked the visiting federal officials for choosing Akwa Ibom and wished them a successful retreat.
