Yusuf Buhari, son of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has clinched the All Progressives Congress, APC, ticket for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’adua Federal Constituency.
‎
‎Buhari polled 5,849 votes to defeat Auwal Lawal Daura, who scored 21 votes in Saturday’s primary election.
‎
‎With the result, he emerges as the APC candidate for the constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
‎
‎The APC House of Representatives primaries were held across the country on Saturday.
