Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu has given matching orders to relevant authorities to probe the killing of a housewife named Fatima Abubakar and her six children in Kano State.
In a statement released on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the act as barbaric while commiserating with the family of the bereaved.
President Tinubu commended the police for the swift arrest of the principal suspects and instructed that a diligent prosecution be carried out by the security agencies.
Recall that a 35-year-old Fatima Abubakar and her six children were murdered on Saturday in a violent attack at Dorayi Chiranci Quarters in Kano.
Newsbuka reports that the victims were killed after the suspected assailants broke into the house and inflicted fatal injuries using dangerous weapons.
