Newsbuka has learnt that one person has been killed during an attack launched by suspected cultists at Orita Elelede, Osogbo, Osun state on Sunday.
Eyewitnesses said the victim, Kazeem Oyebamiji (Mosquito), was attacked on a motorcycle by suspected cultists who were said to be followers of Oyeyemi Olalekan (aka Emir).
Newsbuka learnt that he was stripped naked and killed with a big stone, matched on his head.
It was further gathered that the second person on the bike with the victim escaped.
Local sources added that the assailants took away the motorcycle of the victim.
It was gathered that Olalekan was arraigned and standing trial before the Federal High Court, Osogbo, on charges ranges from public disturbance, murder and unlawful possession of gun.
Meanwhile, the police spokesperson, Abiodun Ojelabi, confirmed the death of one person, adding that the monitoring team are on the trail of some identified suspects.
