Uzodimma Urges Ekiti Igbo Community to Back Oyebanji’s Re-election Bid

Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, at the weekend joined Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji at the 2026 Igbo Cultural Day Celebration in Ekiti State.

‎Uzodimma disclosed this in a post on his official X handle, stating that the event was used to celebrate with the Igbo community in Ekiti and reaffirm bonds of unity, cultural pride, and national cohesion.

‎The governor noted that Igbos have enjoyed peaceful co-existence in the South-West and across Nigeria, contributing significantly to commerce, trade, and socio-economic development.

‎Ahead of Ekiti’s next governorship election, Uzodimma canvassed support from the Igbo community in the state for the continuity of Governor Oyebanji’s administration.

‎He said Oyebanji’s government had sustained an enabling environment for business, investment, and economic growth.

‎Uzodinma also expressed support for the #RenewedHope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, adding that state governments across the federation were advancing progressive ideals through purposeful leadership and development.

‎Uzodimma encouraged Igbos in Ekiti to remain steadfast and supportive of the All Progressives Congress as the nation works toward a more prosperous future.
