The National Chairman of the Action Democratic Party, ADP, Yabagi Sani, has stated that Nigerians are in trouble because the Federal Government is not telling them the truth.
Sani made this statement on Monday while responding to questions from newsmen during a TV programme.
Reacting to the release of the schoolchildren who were abducted from a Catholic private school in Niger state, Sani said there is trouble in Nigeria because the government is economical with the truth, adding that they don’t want the citizens to get the truth about what is happening.
According to Sani, the circumstances surrounding the kidnap of the children in Niger State, is shrouded in a lot of secrecy, mostly on the part of the government, saying If they were rescued, Nigerians deserve to know how many kidnappers were neutralised.
