A former Governor of Abia State and the current Senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, has enjoined Nigerians to stop blaming only President Bola Tinubu for the insecurity in the country.

‎‎Uzor Kalu insisted that state governors should also be held accountable for not addressing security challenges in their states.

‎He tasked governors across the country to secure their states to end insecurity in the country, adding that as governor of Abia State from 1999 to 2007, he was able to secure the state, making it the safest in the country at the time.

‎Senator Uzor Kalu stated this in Ekoli Edda, Edda local government area of Ebonyi State, while interacting with journalists during his New Year visit to the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha.

‎He commended Governor Francis Nwifuru as one of the governors who has done well in securing the lives and property of his people.
