Niger Attack: Tinubu Orders Defence Minister, Service Chiefs to go After Perpetrators

Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu has ordered the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services, DSS to track down and apprehend the perpetrators of the Kasuwan Daji attack, ensuring they are swiftly brought to justice.

‎‎The order was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by Tinubu’s media aide Bayo Onanuga.

‎Recall that terrorists launched a deadly attack in a village market in Kabe District, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State on Sunday killing nearly 40 persons.

‎‎It was gathered that several others were abducted during the attack.

‎‎In the statement, the president also ordered the security agencies to rescue all the abducted victims urgently.
