As calls for reduction of cost of governance in Nigeria continue, a professor of political economy, Pat Utomi, says if elected president of Nigeria, he will reduce the cost of governance.
Utomi who made the comment during an interview on Sunday, was reacting to the state of the nation.
He contended that it does not make sense to run a government at the expense of the masses who are facing hardship.
Utomi said he will dramatically slice the cost of governance in Nigeria as it is way too high, adding that he would use industry policy to stimulate production.
Speaking further, the professor of political economy submitted that he will not remove tax reforms due to their importance, saying he will ensure that they are not revenues for people to spend.
