A former presidential adviser, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has advised President Bola Tinubu to have a deep thought concerning remaining in office.

‎He argued that President Tinubu stepping aside might be the best option for the country.

‎Speaking on Monday, Baba-Ahmed said the President’s two and a half years in charge have not matched the promises made or the achievements often credited to him.

‎He insisted that official claims from the government do not reflect what Nigerians are passing through on daily basis, emphasising that wide discrepancy exist between what he says he is doing and what people are seeing.

‎Baba-Ahmed also faulted the President’s approach to security, saying,  “President Buhari left a terrible security situation and Tinubu doesn’t appear to have improved it; rather, it appears that he has made it worse.”
