LAGOS – The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, says a fire incident has occurred at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

‎FAAN disclosed this in a statement posted on its official X handle on Sunday.

‎The authority said its Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service, ARFFS, is currently responding to the incident and working to contain the situation.
‎
‎FAAN confirmed that there have been no reported casualties or loss of life.
‎
‎It added that further updates will be provided to the public as more information becomes available.
‎
‎Operations at the airport are being closely monitored as emergency teams continue their response.
