‎He stated that almost everybody who worked for his emergence has been driven away, accusing Makinde of dismantling the party’s structure in the region.

‎Fayose said Makinde has destroyed all PDP structures in the South-West just as he questioned the credibility of the party’s process in Osun State.

‎He alleged that a candidate who did not even obtain a PDP form eventually became the candidate.

‎Fayose alao claimed he was targeted during a political event in Osun State, alleging that Makinde organised an attack on him in Osun, describing the Oyo governor as “a small boy” in political terms.

‎He described himself as an elder statesman, saying he governed Ekiti State without external control.

‎Fayose openly declared his allegiance to Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, saying, he is Wike’s person.
