Chris Ngige, a former Governor of Anambra State has been arrested in Abuja.
This was confirmed in a statement issued to newsmen Wednesday night and signed by his former media aide, Fred Chukwulobe.
Ngige, the immediate past Minister of Labour and Employment is currently with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Chukwulobe dismissed rumours peddled online that Ngige had been kidnapped.
He wrote, “Former Governor of Anambra State and immediate past minister of labour and employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, is with the EFCC. More details later.”
Recall that the former Anambra Governor was in the news recently after his convoy was attacked by armed men in Anambra State.
