Newsbuka has learnt that at least two people were killed and several others abducted on Sunday when bandits attacked the Unguwar Nagunda community in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Security analyst Bakatsine in a post shared on X on Monday, said the attack occurred as a wedding convoy was arriving in the village from Mabai, another community within the same local government area.
He disclosed that several people were injured during the attack, including the bride, adding that the exact number of those abducted remained unclear, as families were still struggling to account for their loved ones.
Meanwhile, there has been no official statement from the Katsina State Police Command on the incident.
