‎The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, has said the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition is unstable because it has not resolved the lingering issue of zoning.

‎Obi who said this during an interview on ‘Advocacy for Good Governance’, insisted that the coalition must tie up the loose ends and agree on a clear direction before campaigns kick off.

‎The former Anambra Governor expressed confidence in people like the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Senate President David Mark, who are leading the coalition process.

‎Speaking on whether he would still be part of the coalition if he is not chosen as its presidential candidate, Obi stated that he is not desperate to be president of Nigeria.
