Ndiolumbe Autonomous Community in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State was thrown into sorrow on Sunday following the alleged murder of a man, Ukaegbu Ogii, believed to be in his mid-60s.

‎A community source and kinsman of Ogii, who spoke to Newsbuka on condition of anonymity, alleged that Ogii was murdered by Nkume, a man who hails from Umuota same Ndiolumbe community.

‎According to the source, Nkume had previously confronted Ogii, accusing him of having an affair with his wife, and the situation almost turned bloodly a few weeks ago when Nkume attacked Ogii, leaving him with a forehead injury.

‎The source said despite community efforts to resolve the issue, Nkume allegedly harbored resentment and killed Ogii on Sunday afternoon.

‎Another community member confirmed Ogii’s murder, stating that Nkume used a dagger to stab Ogii’s neck.

‎The source added that Nkume now at large, had previously molested Ogii over the same allegation.

‎As at the time of filing the report, the Ndiolumbe Vigilante Watch has invited Nkume’s wife and daughter for questioning.
