Abia Commandant of NSCDC Tasks Decorated Officers to Uphold Professionalism

The Abia State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Akinsola Aderemi, has enjoined officers to uphold professionalism and dedication in the discharge of their duties.

‎Aderemi, who gave the charge at the Command’s Headquarters in Umuahia on Friday during the decoration ceremony for sixty-six (66) officers who were recently elevated to higher ranks, emphasised that promotion is a call to greater responsibility , accountability and leadership.

‎He charged officers who were not promoted during the decoration ceremony to remain focused and committed, assuring them that their efforts is being noted and will be rewarded at the appropriate time.
‎
‎Aderemi congratulated the newly promoted officers while acknowledging the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, for his consistent support and commitment to the career advancement and welfare of personnel of the Corps.
‎
‎A statement by the spokesperson of the the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abia State Command, ASC I Doreen Udugwu, said the ceremony attracted top management staff of the Corps, officers and men of the Command, relatives of promoted officers as well as invited guests.
