Former running mate of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Datti Baba-Ahmed, says it is not true that he had declared for the presidency in 2027.
Baba-Ahmed who made this clarification on Friday, said he did not declare for presidency but reaffirmed his membership of the Labour Party.
Newsbuka reports that this is coming amid claims that Baba-Ahmed had declared to run for presidency in 2027.
He insisted that he never declared to contest for presidency just as he did not also rule out the possibility of contesting for the Presidency.
