A former Councilor that represented Aba Motor Park, Ward 13, Aba South Legislative Council, Hon. Augustine Akomas has appreciated the outgoing Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, for giving him the opportunity to contribute to the development of Abia.
In his letter to Governor Ikpeazu, titled “Thank You Message To The Executive Governor Of Abia State, Gov. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D”, Hon. Akomas said it has been a remarkable experience working with the Governor, adding that he hopes to work with him sometime in future.
The letter reads, “Greetings His Excellency, Gov. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D, The Executive Governor of Abia State.

I have learned from you so many things that improved my journey. I’ll miss a friendly Governor and Boss, like you always. Thanks for your principled guidance Gov. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D
You’ve always been like a father to me, and working with you was an amazing experience that I’ll forever cherish. Farewell!
I will always cherish every piece of advice you have given to me and follow your path of Peaceful disposition Dear boss, i will never forget your words of encouragement and appreciation, when i was serving as a Councillor Under your watch as a Governor, Best wishes Dedem.
I wish you a retired life full of grandeur as Your tenure ends as a democratically Elected Governor of Abia State on the 29th of May, 2023 and thank you for bestowing me with so many inspirational lessons.
I hope to have the opportunity to work with you again in the future. Good luck with your transition and a successful Tenure boss. Thank you so much for everything you did for me”.
