The member-elect to represent Obingwa-West State Constituency, in Abia State House of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr. has called on parents and guardians to make sacrifice for children in order to secure posterity.

Erondu Jnr. who described children as gifts from God, added that a well-trained child is the nation’s pride.

In a statement signed by his SA (Media and Publicity), Mr. George C. Egejuru and made available to newsmen, Erondu congratulated children, and charged them to shun all forms of deviant behaviours.

He further noted that the future belongs to children with good character and faith in God.

The former Aide to the Abia state Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu also described this year’s theme: “Investing in our future means investing in our children” as apt, calling on more investment in the children.
