The Association of Women Town Planners in Nigeria, Abia State Chapter, has congratulated the Governor-elect, Dr. Alex Otti on his victory at the just concluded Governorship election.
In a release signed by the Chairperson, Association of Women Town Planners in Nigeria, Abia State Chapter, Town Planner Chinyere Ibegbulam and forwarded to newsbuka.com, The Association described Dr. Otti’s victory as divine, adding that it is a call to quality service for the people of Abia.
According to the release, the Association said the reward for hard-work is more work, expressing optimism that Dr. Alex Otti’s policies and programmes will be gender friendly and will allow women have at least 30% opportunity in his administration because of the inherent potentials God deposited in women.
They noted that as women Town Planners, and in line with their creative development goals, they are ready to partner his administration, revealing that his acceptance speech, buttresses the fact that he is Town Planning friendly, saying that they are ready to assist him in achieving sustainable development for the State.
In the release, Town Planner Chinyere Ibegbulam, assured the Governor-elect that they have qualified, capable and competent women that will assist him in achieving the Abia urban renewal project just as they will continue to pray for his success and peaceful reign.
The release reads in part, “We Assure you that we have qualified, capable and competent women to work with you to achieve Abia of our dream. We shall continue praying for you for a peaceful and successful reign for your administration and also that Abia will experience more development and prosperity.”
