The House of Assembly member elect for Obingwa West State Constituency, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr. has pledged to serve the people of his constituency vigorously when the 8th Assembly begins.
Erondu Jnr. who made the pledge on Thursday at the International Conference Center, Ogurube Layout, Umuahia, immediately after receiving his certificate of return as the duly elected House of Assembly member elect for Obingwa West state constituency, said he will come up with many goodies when the business of legislation commences.
He hinted the people of Obingwa West that they would be proud of his representation at the state Assembly, because he understands what their plights are and will ensure that they are met by the Grace of God.
Erondu Jnr., who admitted that the primary responsibility of the legislative arm of Government is to make laws, added that the laws made by the Legislature must be targeted at bettering the State and her citizenry.
Responding to the overwhelming jubilation at the Conference Center when he was called upon to receive his certificate of return, he revealed that it was an indication that his people are with him as well as love him.
