A Senatorial candidate of the Young Progressive Party, YPP, for Abia Central Senatorial District, Chief Chuku Wachuku, has described the death of a former PDP National Chairman, Vincent Ogbulafor, as a “colossal loss”.
Chief Wachuku who received the news of the death of the astute politician with huge shock, described late Ogbulafor as a personal friend, adding that both of them had mutual respect for each other.
The YPP Senatorial candidate for Abia Central who stated this on Sunday in a statement he personally endorsed and forwarded to newsbuka.com, added that the commitment both of them had towards the upliftment of youths, women and Abians in general was outstanding.
He recalled that he had a great conversation with the late Ogbulafor few weeks ago on various issues, stressing that due to the relationship he had with him, his family has never ceased praying for him.
Chief Wachuku, noted that the former National Chairman of the PDP, paid his dues towards the upliftment of the party at the National and State levels, saying that the legacies he left in the annals of history, will be forever remembered.
He commiserated with the immediate family, Abia State Government, Ndi Olokoro and every other person affected by his demise, urging all to take solace from the fact that the late Ogbulafor, lived a life worthy of emulation as well as contributed his quota towards the development of Nigeria, Abia and his community.
The statement reads in part, “We were close friends and had mutual respects for each other.Our commitment to the upliftment of youths, women and Abians in general was total. I console the family and others affected by his demise. I pray God to console us and grant us the fortitude to bear this great loss”.
