The Deputy Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Hon. Mrs. Glory Ngozi Nwasinmuo, says God has chosen Bishop Dr Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha to rescue Abia from her current situation.
Addressing the women of Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) Diocese of Isiala Ngwa South on their 16th Diocesan Women Conference with the Theme: “Occupy Till I come” Luk 19:13, urged them to continue to pray for a turnaround, adding that the deplorable nature of the State can only be changed by a God fearing leader.
The Deputy guber candidate informed the women that the mandate of Bishop Dr Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha was a divine one and timely too. She stated that the suffering and underdevelopment seen in Abia is something every woman in her right sense should stand up and say enough is enough.
She called on the Anglican women to jettison money politics and choose a candidate with credibility, she also said that Bishop Onuoha is a servant of God with proven integrity haven served as SA to Obasanjo and currently serving in various national and international committees.
Mrs. Ngozi informed the women that she was chosen as Bishop Onuoha’s deputy not because she is rich or more qualified but by the providence of God.
Encouraging the women further the ADC deputy Guber candidate asked the women to make sure their children will not be used to further in any form of electoral violence, she rounded up her admonition by calling on the women to make their PVCs count for a good cause.
