As part of efforts to celebrate this year’s International Youth Day with the theme, “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a world for all Ages”, Abia State Government is inviting Abia youths to a public lecture to mark the event slated for today, Wednesday, August 24th, 2022.
A release signed by the Commissioner, Abia State Ministry of Youth Development, Barr. Charles Esonu, puts the venue at Micheal Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia, while time is 1:30 pm prompt, pointing out that the guest speaker at the event is the immediate past Vice Chancellor, Abia State University, Uturu and the Abia PDP Governorship candidate in the 2023 general election, Prof. Uche Ikonne.
The release revealed that the session will allow panel discussions by selected highflying youths of Abia State origin who will be availed the opportunity to talk to their fellow youths.
Barr. Esonu also informed that the day will allow popular artists, celebrities of Abia extraction to perform live, promising that Abia youths who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of human endeavour will be honoured just as the event will feature other entertaining and educative events.
