15 students from the Congo Brazaville and students from Chad, Malawi and Ethiopia who are attending the Rochas Foundation College of Africa, Owerri have arrived their Brazaville for vacation. They were received by the country’s state house officials at the airport on arrival.
The visit is facilitated by the First Lady of the country, Her Excellency Antoinette Sassou Nguesso to show solidarity and appreciation to Africa’s foremost Philanthropist and former Governor of Imo State, H.E. Sen. Rochas Okorocha for offering free education to children of indigent background from her country.

It will be recalled that Rochas Foundation College of Africa (ROFOCA) since 2017 has been offering free education to students from African countries as part of the 55 5 55 project launched by Sen. Okorocha to mark his 55th birthday then in 2017 with an objective to offer free education to 5 students from each of the 55 African countries. There are currently about 146 students and still counting from 20 African countries who attend the Rochas Foundation College of Africa, Owerri.

This free school for Africa compliments the Rochas Foundation College which was established in 1998 to cater for thousands of students of indigent background in Nigeria seen in 13 states of Nigeria accommodating the six geopolitical zones.
