The newly elected Interim Executives of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Abia State Chapter have been inaugurated with a charge to be serious and focused so as to drive the vision of the party.
The Leader, Board of Trustees South-East Barr. Godson Okoye who gave the charge on Tuesday during the inauguration in Umuahia, the State capital, described ADC as a family where everyone is welcome and loved, urging the interim executive to be serious and focused in the discharge of their duties.
He noted that the symbol of the party which signifies “handshake”, depicts openness, accountability, and transparency, adding that all hands must be on deck to ensure that the party emerges in the State.
Earlier in his welcome address, the leader and the Governorship candidate of the Party in Abia State, Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha (PhD), welcomed the representatives of the national body of the party and charged the newly inaugurated exco to put in professionalism and excellence in driving the vision of the party.

He noted that the name Abia was crafted from the church and it is the only state in the Bible, highlighting the need to hand over the State to a servant of God to rescue her from crashing, stressing that he is a man sent by God to liberate the state.
On his part, the newly elected interim Chairman of the party, Elder Obioma Onwukaike, pledged to run a transparent administration so as to ensure that the vision of the founding fathers of the party are met just as he called on local government as well as ward leaders to contribute their quota towards taking the party to an enviable height.
