The Governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor, says he and his running mate, Dr. Chima Anyaso, will restore the dignity of Abians through the provision of infrastructure if elected next Governor of Abia State.
Engr. Nwafor, who gave the assurance on Thursday, during a familiarization visit to Dr. Chima Anyaso at his residence in Igbere, Bende LGA of Abia State, said the royal blessing earlier received from the Igbere Traditional Rulers Council is an endorsement for them to take over Abia and re-define the State to the path of development.
He said the choice of Dr. Anyaso as running mate, was informed by his ideology to bring radical infrastructural development to the State, noting that there is deficit in the area of healthcare just as he pointed out that they want to improve on the welfare of Abia workers and Abians in general.
On how confident he is in clinching the Abia Governorship position, Engr. Nwafor said all power belongs to God, reiterating that with him and his running mate working in close collaboration, they will take over Abia come 2023.
On his part, Dr Chima Anyaso, revealed that Engr. Nwafor shares same vision with him in the area of good governance, informing that the ruling People’s Democratic Party in the State became unconducive to pursue and achieve the good governance Abians crave and yearn for.
He expressed optimism that with him and Engr. Nwafor, YPP will gain strong footing in the State come 2023.
