An aspirant for the Umuahia South State Constituency seat, Mrs Chinwenwa Blessing Nathan has pledged to represent the party well if elected a House of Assembly member.
Mrs Nathan who stated this on Saturday after picking her expression of interest and nomination form under African Democratic Congress at the party office in Umuahia, further called on the people of her constituency to support her ambition.
She maintained that women need to be given the opportunity to checkmate the activities of men in Abia State House of Assembly and pledged to serve as well as embark on people oriented programmes if given the opportunity.
Responding, the African Democratic Congress , ADC, State Chairman, Don Norman Obinna, described ADC as the right party for Abians and Nigerians at Large.
Don Norman Obinna implored all Abians and Nigerians to key into the philosophies of ADC so as to achieve an Abia and Nigeria of their dream, adding that with ADC, the Liberation of the State come 2023 is certain.
